Signature library
If you sign often, drawing your signature every time is tedious. The signature library stores styles you reuse across envelopes, similar to saving a signature in other e-sign apps.
When to use this
Section titled “When to use this”- You sign multiple envelopes per week
- You want default signature and initial styles for auto-fill
- You are setting up your profile after onboarding
- You wonder whether changing your library affects old signed documents
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- Create a signature and/or initial (draw, type, or upload).
- Mark one of each as default if you want auto-fill.
- When you sign, Filosign can fill signature and initial fields from your defaults.
- When you finish signing an envelope, Filosign saves a snapshot for that document.
Updating your library later does not alter agreements you already signed. Your proof export shows what the signature looked like at signing time.
Name, date, and email fields may auto-fill from your profile when the sender assigned those field types to you.
Example workflow
Section titled “Example workflow”A contractor saves a drawn signature and typed initial as defaults. Each new SOW takes one click to fill signature fields instead of redrawing every time.
What to watch out for
Section titled “What to watch out for”- You can change the style before you submit on any given envelope.
- Library changes do not retroactively update completed documents.
- Signature images in proof exports reflect what you used at signing time.
How to set up your library in the app
Section titled “How to set up your library in the app”- Open Profile → Signature library (or finish onboarding).
- Create a signature and/or initial (draw, type, or upload).
- Mark one of each as default if you want auto-fill.
